Al Qasimia University receives the Consul of the Republic of India

Sharjah24: Al Qasimia University, received His Excellency Ram Kumar, Consul General of the Republic of India in the country, at the university’s headquarters in the city of Sharjah. Talks were exchanged between the two parties about general issues aimed at serving the student and the educational process at the university.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Zakaria Noah, Director of the Office of International Relations and Student Attraction, and Ali Al Naqbi, Director of Public Relations.

Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf, Acting Director of Al Qasimia University, welcomed the visit of the Consul General of India to the country, pointing to the university’s keenness to strengthen its relations with various countries of the world within the framework of its vision to converge joint efforts to develop academic cooperation and coordination, especially with the Republic of India and the great scientific value its universities represent.

In turn, His Excellency Ram Kumar, Consul General of the Republic of India, pointed to the role of Al Qasimia University and its global message in its educational fields and its distinction among various universities, stressing the keenness of the Republic of India, represented by its recognised universities, to enhance its academic cooperation with Al Qasimia University.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Awwad Al-Khalaf presented a commemorative shield to the Consul of India in appreciation of his communication with the students. After that, the Consul met with a number of students studying from the Republic of India in the various colleges of the university and heard from them about the aspects of services and care provided by the university administration to them and enabling them with the available educational opportunities.
