ElMaadawy points out that one of the rare and precious manuscripts in the house was written by a Muslim scholar under the title “Fath Al Wasid fi Sharah Abyat Al-Qased” on the subject of readings; He is the scholar al Sakhawi Abu al-Hasan Ali bin Muhammad Alam al-Din al-Shafi’i, who died in 643 AH, explaining, “The scarcity of the manuscript is due to the fact that it was written during the life of the author himself in 632 AH, but the name of the scribe who wrote it was not mentioned.
He adds that there is also a rare manuscript in literature, entitled “The Fruits of the Leaves” by its author, Ibn Hajja Abu Bakr Ibn Ali Ibn Abdullah Al-Hamawi, who died in 837 AH. The manuscript was written shortly after his death in 868 AH. On oriental paper in normal Naskh font.
