Sharjah24: "Sharjah 24" explores, in an 11 episodes programme, the treasures of the House of Islamic Manuscripts at Al Qasimia University which were gifted by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, to the House, their number exceeds 1500 manuscripts; In 11 episodes, shown on Mondays and Thursdays of every week.
"A voice for those silent Muslims for centuries" wins by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah; After His Highness achieved 23 manuscripts of cases against Muslims in Andalusia, each of them tells a story - according to His Highness's description.
Manuscripts donated by His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah to the House of Islamic Manuscripts; It was written in Spanish, as Said ElMaadawy, Director of the House, explains to "Sharjah 24", noting that the documents date back to the sixteenth century AH, around 1515 AD.
ElMaadawy explained that these documents were written by the King of Spain instructing 11 armed groups to persecute Muslims, rob their property, and torture them, which is what was mentioned in the book of His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, “The Inquisition”.
