Sharjah24: His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH), met with His Excellency Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, in the presence of a number of directors and officials from both sides. This came on the sidelines of the Institute’s participation in the 52nd Cairo International Book Fair, which aims to enhance joint cooperation with cultural and scientific institutions in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
During the meeting, Dr. Mostafa El-Feki has expressed his deep thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, lauding his keenness to promote the Arab and Islamic culture. He also praised His Highness’ valuable efforts that made the Emirate of Sharjah a prominent position in Arab and international forums.
Lauding the joint cooperation with the Sharjah Institute for Heritage, El-Feki highlighted the great role of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in preserving all aspects of the heritage, stressing on its remarkable efforts in enhancing the heritage documentation, book industry and publishing.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam has lauded the Egyptian experience as one of the most important and prominent cultural and scientific experiences at the Arab level, emphasising that the Sharjah Institute for Heritage , under the directives of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, is looking forward to permanent and fruitful cooperation with the library at various areas.
At the end of the meeting, Al-Muslim presented a copy of “Thesaurus” and AlRabi Tower painting to the Director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
