SIH participates in Cairo International Book Fair

Sharjah24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage (SIH) is participating in the 52 edition of The Cairo International Book Fair , taking place at Egypt International Exhibition Center in the Fifth Settlement in Cairo from June 30 to July 15, 2021.
His Excellency Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam, Chairman of the Sharjah Institute for Heritage,  presided over SIH’s participated delegation in the book fair along with Ahmed Al-Bairaq, Director of the Institutional Communication Department; Ahmed Al-Dah, Head of the International Relations Department, and Dr. Mona Bounama, Director of Content and Publication Department.

The Institute's participation in the Cairo International Book Fair includes a package of scientific and cultural meetings with a number of Egyptian institutions which aim to enhance cooperation and partnership in the scientific and cultural fields and in the publishing industry. 

Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam affirmed that this participation comes in line with the insightful cultural vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to build bridges of knowledge through the book by electing interesting titles with rich contents in culture, heritage, history, literature, science, anthropology and others. 
 
Dr. Abdulaziz Al Musallam stressed that the institute is always keen on participating distinctively in the various editions of the exhibition to display its publishes of dictionaries, encyclopedias, books and publications that enrich the field of historical, heritage and cultural studies, pointing out that this edition will open the way to enhance cooperation, communication and fruitful partnership with various institutions working in this field.

For her part, Dr. Mona Bonama, Director of the Content and Publishing Department at the Institute, pointed out to the key role of the institute to empower writers since its inception, and to raise awareness of the importance of reading among various age groups and cultural levels.
