Sharjah TV’s “Back to School” programme supports students and families in preparing for the new academic year through family-oriented awareness content, reports and interactive segments. Prepared by Shahad Muhannad and presented by Issa Al Mazmi and Hidaya Saleh, the programme airs daily from 24 August to 6 September.

On Al Sharqiya Channel, “We’re Back to School” offers community- and guidance-focused coverage of preparations across the Eastern Region, highlighting institutional efforts to ensure a successful start. The programme, prepared by Osama Ibrahim and presented by Omar Ahmed, airs from 27 to 31 August at 8:45pm.

Al Wusta from Al Dhaid is dedicating a week of its morning programme, “Al Wusta Diaries”, to the new school year, featuring field reports, interviews and guidance on educational, organisational and safety preparations for the Central Region.

Sharjah Radio’s “Al Atheer” also features a “Before the Assembly” segment, giving students the opportunity to showcase their talents before heading to school. The programme airs Monday to Thursday from 7am to 9am.

“On Schedule”, a social talk programme, is addressing students’ preparations for returning to school through discussions with education specialists and audience interaction and voting on Instagram.

English-language Radio Plus is running a three-week back-to-school campaign, offering practical information, advice and expert guidance to help families transition from the summer holiday to school routines.

“The Morning Majlis” is covering education updates, regulations and community safety campaigns, with live coverage from Sharjah schools on the first day of classes.

“The Halftime Show” is focusing on family health and wellbeing, including sleep routines, reducing excessive device use, and helping children return to regular sleep patterns.
