Sharjah 24: The Wasit Youth Center team has won the Sharjah Youth Water Polo Championship, which was organized by Sharjah Youth, part of the Rubu’ Qarn for Future Leaders and Innovators. The tournament took place at the Wasit Youth Center and included 78 young athletes from eight different centers in Sharjah, showcasing a variety of fun and interactive programs.

The competition kicked off with exciting matches where participants demonstrated great swimming, shooting, and teamwork skills. The teams from Wasit, Al Dhaid, Kalba, and Maliha made it to the semi-finals, showcasing their talent and determination.

In the semi-finals, Wasit continued their strong showing by defeating the Kalba Youth team 3-1. The Al Dhaid Youth team also advanced to the finals after winning 3-0 against Maliha, setting the stage for an exciting final match between two top teams.

The championship final saw Wasit facing off against Al Dhaid Youth in a thrilling game, where Wasit emerged victorious with a score of 4-2, thanks to their excellent teamwork. Kalba Youth secured third place by beating Maliha in the match for third place. At the end of the tournament, all the young participants were recognized for their efforts, and the top four teams received trophies and medals.

This tournament is part of Sharjah Youth’s sports program, which aims to help young members improve their swimming and teamwork skills, promote fair play, and inspire them to embrace sports as an enjoyable part of their lives. The program creates a fun and encouraging environment, helping to shape a new generation that is ready to face challenges with confidence.
