Sharjah 24: The Rubu’ Qarn for Future Leaders and Innovators continues its second annual Arts and Literature Season, drawing large crowds of culture and art enthusiasts to Aljada, Khorfakkan Library, and other locations across Sharjah. Attendees enjoyed a diverse program of literary and artistic activities showcasing the talents and creativity of members of the Foundation's various age groups.

This season is part of the Foundation's efforts to provide inspiring platforms and interactive spaces that celebrate the talents of children and youth, allowing them to express their passions and creativity in literature, art, music, theater, visual arts, and film. This aligns with the Foundation's strategic vision of being "a community partner in building and empowering conscious and influential generations," and fostering communication between them and the wider community. The program aims to raise awareness of the Rubu’ Qarn's initiatives, which contribute to developing and refining the skills of future leaders in various fields of creativity and knowledge.

The Literature and Languages events witnessed a remarkable turnout from members of Rubu’ Qarn, who presented a diverse range of literary and theatrical performances. These included poetry readings, participation in a proverbs challenge, and theatrical productions that showcased their boundless imagination and ability to employ language in creative artistic expression. Among these productions were "I Love My Country," "Shamsa and the Sushi," "The Emirati House," "The World of Imagination," "A Frowning Smile," "The Girl and the Butterflies," "Exquisitely Beautiful," and "The Enchanting Butterfly." The audience expressed their admiration for the masterful performances that seamlessly blended concept and message, reflecting the profound creative spirit of the participants.

Visitors also enjoyed unique interactive activities such as the Storyteller's Corner, which offered storytelling sessions in a style that combined performance and imagination to develop storytelling skills. The Book Tour Corner allowed the public to browse a selection of books and share their opinions about them in short filmed meetings. The Century Reader Platform Corner offered an innovative digital experience that allowed participants to explore the world of reading in modern and interactive ways, by learning about the platform's features that encourage continuous reading and document readers' achievements within a creative knowledge community. The "Story in a Bottle" project received widespread interaction due to its innovative idea that combines literature with technology, where stories were displayed inside transparent bottles accompanied by a QR code to allow the opportunity to listen to the stories in the voices of their young authors in an experience that blends literary creativity with digital innovation.

In addition to literary events, the season also celebrated the visual arts through the art exhibition “Worlds of Art: Between Craft and Imagination,” which presented three main visions embodying a dialogue between generations: “From Raw Materials to Imagination,” highlighting the participants’ ability to transform raw materials into a language of artistic expression; “Memory and Identity,” which drew inspiration from the symbols and elements of Emirati heritage, from old houses to the sea and national figures; and “Worlds Beyond Reality,” which expressed the convergence of art and technology in visual experiences brimming with creativity and meaning. The photography exhibition also included digital works from the “Parallel World Lens” and “AI Imagination” programs, where participants transformed stories into digital paintings and book covers that spoke of their imagination and their ability to employ technology in art.

In a vibrant and emotionally resonant display, members of the Rubu’ Qarn Music Center presented musical performances showcasing their individual and ensemble skills in playing renowned Arabic and international pieces. This performance highlighted the diverse musical talents nurtured by the institution. The season also showcased the creativity of Rubu’ Qarn Theatre and Performing Arts Center members, who demonstrated their artistic prowess on stage, reaffirming the role of theatre as a space for character development and collective creativity.

With this artistic and literary diversity, the Rubu’ Qarn Arts and Literature Season continues to solidify its mission of refining the skills of children and young people, developing their creative abilities, and empowering them to express their national identity through contemporary artistic means. It remains a platform that unites art and literature, imagination and reality, in a dynamic cultural landscape that reflects Sharjah’s vision for human development.
