Sharjah 24: University of Khorfakkan hosted the Eastern Province Arabic Teachers Forum, an extension of the 2025 Fourth International Arabic Teachers Forum. The forum, held under the theme "Building and Advancing," was organized by the Sharjah Private Education Authority in cooperation with the Sharjah Education Academy. The forum brought together a select group of academics, experts, and educators from within and outside the country, with the aim of exchanging distinguished experiences in teaching Arabic, focusing on the use of modern technologies and artificial intelligence to enhance the education system.

The university hosted a series of dialogue sessions and interactive workshops that addressed key topics, including the role of language in strengthening identity among young generations, presenting modern applied methods for teaching Arabic in early childhood, the interconnectedness of social studies and their impact on preserving the Arabic language, and the role of technology and artificial intelligence in enhancing Arabic learning and linking it to cultural identity. The workshops also reviewed best practices in developing Arabic language teaching at the local and international levels.

Participants emphasized the importance of the forum in providing an opportunity to exchange educational experiences and adopt innovative educational practices, which will help empower Arabic teachers with modern digital educational tools that contribute to making the language learning experience interactive and enriching. The forum will also enhance the university's role in consolidating the status of Arabic as a language of knowledge, identity, and belonging, and highlighting its inspiring experiences in the field of Arabic education, within a comprehensive vision that seeks to keep pace with modern educational and technological developments.
