The Engineering Al Nukhba Programme fosters strong industry collaborations that give AUS engineering students a competitive advantage by connecting them with leading firms across diverse sectors. Through hands-on training, mentorship, and research collaboration, the program ensures graduates possess the practical skills needed for today’s evolving job market.
As part of this collaboration, AUS will incorporate Odoo’s University Course into its engineering curriculum. Students will gain in-depth knowledge of ERP-driven business operations, including procurement, sales and customer relationship management, inventory control, manufacturing, human resources, and accounting.
Completion of the course leads to the Odoo Diploma, an internationally recognised certification that enhances career prospects. Diploma holders will also be offered internships at Odoo’s regional office in Dubai, where they will gain practical experience in sales, system implementation, and business support roles.
To ensure seamless course delivery, Odoo will provide a tailored instructor-training programme for the nominated professor, supported by ongoing guidance from an Odoo education consultant. In addition, Odoo experts will conduct workshops in Python programming and application development, linking classroom learning with real-world application.
“This collaboration with Odoo is a milestone in how we prepare our students for future careers,” said Dr Fadi Aloul, Dean of the AUS College of Engineering. “By embedding enterprise-level training and certification within the students’ educational journey, AUS graduates will emerge with strong academic foundations, globally recognised credentials, and valuable hands-on experience.”
“At Odoo, we are proud to partner with AUS in shaping the next generation of engineers,” said Rachelle Hage, Human Resources Manager at Odoo. “This partnership bridges academia and industry, empowering students with the tools and opportunities to become future leaders in technology and business.”
The agreement will also open doors for joint research and development projects, industry-supervised capstone projects, knowledge-sharing initiatives, and structured field trips. Odoo has committed to offering annual internships, providing students with continuous exposure to professional environments alongside their academic studies.
Through the Engineering Al Nukhba Programme, AUS continues to build strategic alliances with global innovators. By integrating technology, research, and professional development into every stage of the student journey, AUS reinforces its commitment to producing graduates who are future-ready and equipped to drive progress across industries regionally and internationally.
