This initiative reflects the university’s ongoing commitment to expanding its influence and engagement within the educational community both locally and internationally. UODH seeks to highlight the advantages of its study programs; the quality of its academic infrastructure, the diversity of its learning experiences, and its rich research opportunities.
The exhibition saw strong participation from visitors and students, and UAD showcased its latest academic plans and the new specialisations it intends to launch in the coming phases. During the event, Professor Dr Hanan bin Abdullah, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs at the University, announced the launch of three new bachelor's degree programs: the Bachelor of Science in Geology, the Bachelor of Science in Desert Science, and the Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Technology.
Professor Dr Hanan bin Abdullah explained that these programmes were designed in response to the environmental, food, and developmental challenges facing the country and aimed to prepare specialised scientific cadres capable of supporting the UAE’s efforts in sustainability, food security, and natural resource management.
She added that the new programs were designed to align with local and regional labour market needs and comply with accredited academic quality standards. Through these specialisations, UODH aims to consolidate its role as an educational institution that contributes towards achieving the nation's development priorities.
The university's stand attracted notable attention from visitors and students interested in learning more about its new programs, admission requirements, scholarship opportunities, and the modern learning environment offered on campus.
The participation of the UODH in Najah Dubai reflects its continued efforts to strengthen academic engagement and expand communication channels with students and parents. This participation reaffirms the university’s role as a leading educational institution that supports the UAE’s vision of building a knowledge-based economy founded on education and innovation.
