Sharjah Police honour taxi driver for his honesty

Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police honoured a taxi driver for his honesty after he returned a mobile phone that had been lost by a woman on her way to attend the World Conference, "We Are Inclusion 2025," held in the emirate.

Lost phone promptly returned

The woman had accidentally left her phone in the taxi. Upon discovering it after she had exited the vehicle, the driver immediately handed the device over to the Sharjah Police office at the conference venue. This quick action enabled authorities to return the phone to its rightful owner in record time, offering her peace of mind.

Sharjah Police praised the driver’s noble gesture, stating that his behaviour reflects the highest standards of honesty and highlights the importance of shared social responsibility in protecting people’s property and rights.
