Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police Criminal Investigation Directorate (CID), in collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Interior, successfully arrested two individuals wanted internationally for fraud-related crimes—one by Uzbek authorities and the other by Nepalese authorities. Both suspects were subjects of Interpol red notices, indicating serious international charges.

Extradition executed under legal protocols

Following their arrest, the suspects were handed over to the respective authorities of Uzbekistan and Nepal. Sharjah Police confirmed that the extradition process was completed in accordance with established legal and judicial frameworks, ensuring full compliance with international protocols.

UAE reaffirms commitment to global cooperation

Sharjah Police General Command stated that the extradition order was issued by His Excellency the Minister of Justice, underscoring the UAE’s firm stance on combating financial and fraud-related crimes. The operation reflects the country’s commitment to international cooperation and its efforts to ensure that wanted individuals are held accountable, regardless of borders.
