Sharjah24: The Sharjah Police (SP) successfully detained a vehicle that appeared in a widely circulated video on sojah24cial media, clearly showing it being driven on a pedestrian pavement. This action constitutes an explicit violation of traffic laws and endangered the safety of road users.

Following the identification of the vehicle, the necessary legal procedures were implemented. These included impounding the car for 60 days, issuing a financial fine, and applying the predetermined traffic points. The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for completion of legal proceedings.

Sharjah Police confirmed that such behaviour poses a direct threat to community safety, stressing the vital importance of adhering to traffic laws and the necessity for drivers to exercise awareness and responsibility while driving. The police also commended the community's role in reporting these violations and affirmed their commitment to continuous monitoring to safeguard community security and safety.
