Sharjah 24: His Excellency Ahmed Abdullah Al Naqbi, Chairman of the Parents Council in Dibba Al Hisn, emphasised the importance of equipping younger generations with knowledge and national values to prepare them for a more conscious and advanced future. He made the remarks during a specialised workshop titled “My summer is better with my values”, organised by the council in collaboration with Dibba Al-Hisn Sports and Cultural Club, as part of efforts to strengthen community partnership and promote a culture of learning and innovation.

 

Focus on future-readiness


The workshop, held on Tuesday morning, saw strong participation with 145 boys and girls in attendance. It focused on the theme of “Enablers and Readiness for the Future”, highlighting the skills and knowledge necessary for youth to serve their nation and actively contribute to its development. Al Naqbi stressed that strengthening national identity and positive citizenship is key to meeting future challenges, especially amid rapid technological change.

 

Lifelong learning and innovation


Participants also explored the role of lifelong learning and innovative thinking in building responsible, future-ready generations capable of engaging meaningfully with the evolving world. The discussion aligned with the UAE Centennial 2071 vision.

The session included insightful contributions from attendees, reflecting their eagerness to learn and share ideas that reinforce educational values and encourage youth to contribute positively to society.
In closing, Al Naqbi praised the Dibba Al-Hisn Club’s support for community initiatives, stating that such partnerships are a shining example of collaborative efforts that strengthen social cohesion and raise generational awareness.
