The workshop, held yesterday at the club's headquarters, focused on the key pillars of successful events. Dr Al Mansouri outlined the stages of planning and organising, through to implementation procedures and methods of evaluation and follow-up. She stressed the importance of setting clear objectives, identifying the target audience, drafting a precise timeline, and coordinating roles and responsibilities to ensure efficient operations.
The session had a highly interactive format. Participants were divided into working groups and asked to propose innovative event ideas based on their experience and professional backgrounds. This approach fostered a spirit of teamwork, strengthened group collaboration, and encouraged creative thinking and realistic planning in a supportive setting.
The workshop also addressed modern management principles such as empowerment and delegation, presenting them as essential tools for building productive teams capable of decision-making and accountability. These topics were met with positive engagement from attendees, who contributed to discussions with valuable insights from their own professional experiences.
The workshop was attended by several senior figures, including His Excellency Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Dhaid Club; Khalifa Mubarak Dalmouk Al Ketbi, Head of the Cultural Committee; Saif bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, Head of the Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; Malek Musbah Al Ketbi, Head of the Marketing and Investment Committee; and Maheer Obaid Al Khayyal Al Taneiji, the club’s Executive Director.
