The lecture was delivered yesterday morning at the club by Captain Issa Obaid Al Zaabi from the Central Region Police Department. He focused on the importance of safe and responsible use of electronic devices, especially amid the growing threat of cyber intrusions through apps and games popular with children and youth.

Captain Al Zaabi highlighted the dangers of interacting with unknown or random online content and stressed the need to equip young people with the knowledge to counter digital threats. He also underlined the critical role of families in monitoring and guiding children, encouraging them to report any suspicious activity to the relevant authorities.

The session concluded with Captain Al Zaabi being honoured by HE Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Dhaid Club, and Mr Mhair Obaid Al Khayyal Al Tunaiji, the club’s Executive Director, in recognition of his valuable contribution to enhancing digital literacy and cyber safety among youth.
