Sharjah 24: As part of the cooperation between the Dubai Camel Racing Club (DCRC) and the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, DCRC field maintenance team visited Thursday the Al Dhaid Camel Racing Racecourse to ensure the readiness of the ground and measure the sand level.
The visit was attended by His Excellency Abdullah Mohammed Muadhd bin Howaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, and several members of the Board of Directors.
The visit of the Camel Racing Club team was to inspect the sand on the ground and ensure its suitability and safety, and to determine and measure the various elevations on the racecourse's surface. The sand level was also accurately determined.
The team confirmed that the sand on the racecourse's ground is very suitable for camels and for all types of camel races and festivals.
