The event highlighted the joint cooperation between the Al Dhaid Cultural and Sports Club and the Sharjah Scouts Commission, reflecting their commitment to strengthening partnerships in scouting and volunteer work, exchanging expertise and creating supportive environments to develop young people’s skills and to foster initiative, social responsibility and service to the UAE.
The Sharjah Scouts Commission was represented by Scout Leader Adel Mohammed Karam, the commission’s scouting facilitator. He expressed the commission’s appreciation for the role played by Al Dhaid Club and its leadership in supporting the development of volunteer and scouting activities.
He noted that the scout neckerchief is a symbol of belonging to the scouting movement and embodies values such as giving, discipline, cooperation and community service.
The honour was conferred by Nasser Obaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Sharjah Scouts Commission, and Major General Abdullah Saeed Al Suwaidi, Vice Chairman and General Supervisor of Activities, in recognition of Bin Huwaiden’s contributions to supporting volunteer work and sponsoring programmes and initiatives that enhance the role of sports and community institutions in serving younger generations.
