Building on these efforts, an Al Dhaid Club delegation recently visited Wishah School (Cycle 2 – Boys) to strengthen educational ties and track the academic progress of its student-athletes.

Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of Al Dhaid Club, was welcomed by Saleha Al Mazrouei, Principal of Wishah School, to discuss ongoing joint initiatives.

The conversation centered on expanding collaboration through regular check-ins on players' school performance, ensuring they maintain a healthy balance between athletic success and academic achievement.

Both parties also agreed to host school sports activities designed to spot young talent early, develop their athletic skills, and create opportunities for them to join the club's sports teams.

The initiative forms part of Al Dhaid Club’s continued efforts to establish integrated and sustainable partnerships with the education sector, helping nurture students and develop their potential within a supportive educational and sporting environment.

Salem Mohammed bin Howaiden, Chairman of Al Dhaid Club’s Board of Directors, said that supporting education remains a key strategic priority for the club, stressing that sport and education complement each other in developing students’ personalities and preparing them for the future.

He added that the club is committed to maintaining direct engagement with schools, including Wishah School, to support the educational process, identify promising sporting talent within schools and develop their abilities for the benefit of students and the wider community.
