The event was organised and overseen by the Sharjah Camel Racing Club and included 18 races in total: 8 races for local Al Dhaid owners (joint), 6 open category races, and 4 for the Saoub category, all over a distance of 1,500 metres.
The event was attended by H.E. Abdullah Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Sharjah Camel Racing Club, alongside large crowds of camel owners and enthusiasts.

He added that the Fatamen races have become a festive occasion for camel owners and trainers—an exceptional carnival that brings together camel racing enthusiasts from across the UAE and GCC every Saturday morning at Al Dhaid track.
