Al Dhaid Club launches Summer Program on June 30

The program highlights the club’s continuous dedication to nurturing a promising new generation while reinforcing its role as a comprehensive sports, cultural, and community institution focused on human and social development.

This year’s program comes with a renewed concept that aligns with the interests of the younger generation, covering diverse themes that blend entertainment and knowledge while fostering creativity and national identity. Each summer week focuses on an independent educational, cultural, and developmental theme, with a unique slogan guiding the daily activities, which change from day to day.

The program will kick off with the first week titled "I Am Creative," followed by "Here is Sharjah" in the second week, "I Am the Community" in the third week, "I Am an Athlete" in the fourth week, and concluding with "I Am the Future" in the fifth week.

The daily schedule features a diverse range of interactive activities designed to support mental, physical, and cognitive growth. These include sports and fitness sessions, Quran memorisation classes, artificial intelligence workshops, enrichment programs, fun and adventure days, as well as educational field trips to prominent landmarks and facilities across Sharjah, aimed at deepening participants’ understanding of the emirate’s heritage and accomplishments.

The program is designed for children and teens aged 7 to 17, with foundational activities for younger participants and more specialized activities for older groups focused on leadership skills, technology, arts, and competitive sports.

On this occasion, His Highness Salem Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Chairman of Al Dhaid Club, highlighted that the summer program reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and aligns with his forward-thinking directives to transform clubs into comprehensive developmental institutions focused on nurturing young people, channeling their energy positively, and enhancing their skills within a safe and inspiring environment.

He noted that this year’s program stands out for its rich activities, diverse themes, and inclusive approach, offering children a valuable opportunity to enjoy their summer break while gaining knowledge, building character, and strengthening their sense of community and national belonging.

Bin Huwaiden also emphasized that Al Dhaid Club continues to solidify its role as a comprehensive sports, cultural, and community hub, supported by the Sharjah Sports Council under the leadership of His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, which is dedicated to nurturing an aware, creative generation prepared to lead the future.

Since its founding, Al Dhaid Club has grown into one of Sharjah’s leading sports and cultural institutions, distinguished by its facility development, diverse sports offerings, strong community involvement, and year-round activities. The club has also achieved notable success in local and international competitions, affirming its reputation as a model for nurturing talent and contributing to sports, culture, and community service.
