Sharjah 24: The Sharjah individual sports team and Dubai Police emerged as joint winners of the General Karate League Championship after an intense season that concluded with strong showings in both Kata and Kumite events.

Sharjah dominates juniors and youth categories

Sharjah claimed the top position in the juniors and youth categories. The juniors title went to Sharjah Sports Club with Fujairah Martial Arts Club finishing second and Al Dhaid Club in third In the youth division. Sharjah Sports Club again led the standings followed by Kalba Sports Club in second and Dubai Police in third.

Dubai Police lead junior and young women’s divisions

Dubai Police performed strongly in the junior and young women’s categories securing overall victories in both divisions. In the junior women’s category, Dubai Police finished first with Sharjah Women's Sports Club taking second place and Fujairah Martial Arts Club in third. The young women’s title was won by Sharjah Women's Sports Club with Dubai Police in second and Shabab Al Ahli Club in third

Balanced performances secure joint title

With cumulative results across all categories taken into account, Sharjah and Dubai Police shared the championship title. Both teams showcased consistent excellence across age groups and disciplines in a season that highlighted the growing depth of talent in UAE karate
