The workshop targeted players aged 12 to 17 and is part of the club's comprehensive educational plan to raise a generation of athletes who are proud of their country and committed to its identity.
The workshop was presented by Dr. Ahmed Al Dabani, who reviewed a number of important topics revolving around the concept of national identity and ways to instil it among youth, with a focus on the positive role of sports and athletes in supporting the nation's progress and strengthening loyalty to its wise leadership.
Al Dabani explained how sports clubs are an ideal environment for instilling these values and instilling a sense of belonging and solidarity, as they bring young people together under one umbrella that encourages commitment, discipline, and active citizenship.
The workshop saw remarkable interaction from the participating players, who, through their contributions and questions, expressed their deep understanding of national values and their willingness to be ambassadors for their country on and off the field.
The workshop is part of an integrated series of awareness activities and programmes that the club is keen to organise, with the aim of developing the player's comprehensive personality by integrating sports, educational, and national aspects.
The Dibba AlcHisn Club management emphasised that such initiatives stem from its belief in the role of clubs in raising generations aware of their responsibilities towards their country and society, noting the continuation of these awareness programmes in the future, given their tangible impact in shaping national awareness among young players.
