Sharjah 24: Al Dhaid Sports Club team excelled in the Emirates Karate Stars Cup, achieving a new accomplishment to add to the club's long record of excellence. The UAE National Youth Team in Kata and the Juniors Team in Kumite both won second place among the country's clubs in the tournament, organised by the UAE Karate Federation. The tournament saw wide participation and strong competition between the clubs.

Developing the club’s players technical and physical abilities

The club's other teams continued their remarkable performances during the tournament. The Cubs team took third place in the kata competition, while the Juniors team also took third place in the kata competition. The Juniors team secured third place in the kumite competition, and the Youth team repeated the same feat by taking third place in the kumite category. This reflects the development of the club's players' technical and physical abilities across all age groups.

This success was the result of the continuous work and thoughtful planning of the team's technical and administrative staff, who were keen to prepare the players optimally through comprehensive training programmes that address the development of their technical, physical, and psychological skills, in addition to continuous monitoring and periodic performance evaluation.

Providing the necessary equipment and facilities

The significant support provided by Al Dhaid Club's Board of Directors also played a pivotal role in creating an ideal environment for the players by providing the necessary equipment and facilities and facilitating the teams' participation in local and international tournaments. This contributed to honing talent and fostering a spirit of competition and excellence among the players, making this achievement a new milestone in Al Dhaid Club's journey towards further success and future championships.
