The event, the first of four yearly meetings, was designed to stimulate sports engagement among girls aged 7 to 12. Training included archery, fencing, judo, taekwondo, athletics, karate, and table tennis. It's intended to instill healthy living habits and include physical activity in everyday activities.
The gathering is part of the foundation's objective to create educational relationships and grow Sharjah's sports talent pool. It represents efforts to foster institutional synergy among schools and the larger sports community.
The event supports the foundation's objective of identifying potential at a young age and providing future champions with access to cutting-edge facilities and integrated sports settings at the Sharjah Women's Olympic Centre.
Hanan Al Mahmoud, Vice Chairperson of Sharjah Women's Sports, noted that the project underscores the foundation's philosophy that establishing a sports community begins in schools.
Al Yazia Al Suwaidi, Head of the Foundation's Preparation and Technical Follow-up Division, stated that the inaugural gathering aims to accomplish development by integrating educational instruction with professional sports practice.
The foundation restated its commitment to merging education and sport and establishing Sharjah as a regional hub for developing athletic potential from a young age to worldwide success.
