Keynote address by Sheikh Nahyan
In his address, Sheikh Nahyan praised the IOD–India for fostering strong UAE–India ties. He stressed ethical leadership and outlined four key traits: understanding organizational culture, embracing change, acting responsibly, and maintaining a global perspective.

During the ceremony, Sheikh Nahyan presented the IOD Distinguished Fellowship 2025 to Mohammed Al Marri and Abdulla Al Saleh in recognition of their governance and leadership contributions.
Convention focus and theme
The four-day convention, jointly organized by IOD India and Tristar Group UAE, gathers over 500 senior executives to discuss key topics such as ESG, artificial intelligence, climate action, stakeholder capitalism, and resilience strategies. Its central theme is “Boards in a Rapidly Changing World.”
