Tightens title race

Piastri, who entered the race third in the standings and 13 points behind teammate Lando Norris, is now just three points behind. He also becomes the season’s first repeat winner.

Podium and final standings

George Russell finished second for Mercedes, 15.599 seconds behind Piastri. Norris came in third, followed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc in fourth and Lewis Hamilton in fifth.
