Jude Bellingham scored two goals, leading England, the 1966 champions, to a 2-1 extra-time win over Norway in Miami in the 2026 World Cup quarter-finals. The Three Lions have now reached the semi-finals for the fourth time in their history.
Norway took the lead through Andreas Schjelderup (36), and England responded through Bellingham (45+2 and 93), raising his tally to six goals in the current edition, in his second consecutive brace after the first against Mexico (3-2) in the round of 16.
