Spain's Carlos Alcaraz wins first Monte Carlo Masters title

Sharjah 24 – AFP: Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz, ranked third in the world, claimed his first Monte Carlo Masters title on Sunday after defeating Italy’s Lorenzo Muzzetti, ranked 16th, in the final.

A growing trophy collection

With this win, the 21-year-old raised his Masters 1000 title count to six, adding to his already impressive career that includes four Grand Slam titles.

A turnaround in Monte Carlo

Alcaraz’s triumph marks a significant milestone, especially considering he had previously lost his only Monte Carlo match back in 2022. This victory also marks his first Masters win since Indian Wells 2023.
