Sharjah 24: Coinciding with the “Year of Community” and as part of its commitment to social responsibility, Sharjah Department of Awqaf is participating in the "Eid Joy" initiative, organised by Sharjah Social Services Department (SSSD), with the aim of bringing joy to children benefiting from the department during Eid al-Fitr.
The initiative includes packing boxes containing clothing, supplies, and Eid gifts to bring joy and happiness to the hearts of children.
Promoting solidarity
The initiative is being implemented with the participation of government and private sector employees and volunteers. Sharjah Department of Awqaf's participation supports community efforts that promote solidarity and social cohesion and underscores the importance of endowments in achieving sustainable development and serving diverse groups.
This initiative reflects the noble human values that characterise Emirati society and promotes the spirit of giving and compassion, especially during the “Year of Community”, which embodies the importance of concerted efforts to support charitable and development initiatives.
