Sharjah 24: Engineer Abdullah Hussein Al Raisi, Supervisor of Main Roads Works in Al Rahmaniya, said that the Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority (SRTA) is continuing to implement road network development projects in Al Rahmaniya by widening the main roads and converting them into dual carriageways, across three phases aimed at improving traffic flow and facilitating residents' mobility.

Engineer Abdullah Hussein Al Raisi, Supervisor of Main Roads Works in Al Rahmaniya, explained that SRTA is implementing three phases to develop the road network in Al Rahmaniya. The project includes widening the main roads and converting them into dual carriageways as part of the Authority's efforts to enhance infrastructure and improve traffic flow.

Al Raisi confirmed, in exclusive statements to “Sharjah 24,” that the first phase of the project has been completed in full, covering 5 kilometres and linking with Emirates Road. The second phase is currently under way, with a total length of 14 kilometres, and includes the construction of two roundabouts to further improve traffic flow.

The Supervisor of Main Roads Works in Al Rahmaniya added that the third phase is scheduled to begin before the end of this year. It will cover 6 kilometres and include the construction of one roundabout, with all works expected to be completed before the middle of 2027.

Al Raisi pointed out that these projects reflect the Authority's commitment to developing the road network and infrastructure in a way that enhances traffic flow and facilitates movement for residents in residential areas.
