The goal of this visit was to promote cultural exchange and help the scouts learn more about Emirati and Arab heritage. The scouts explored various aspects of this rich culture, including traditional customs, crafts, and folk arts. They also took part in events and enjoyed exhibitions that showcased local and Arab heritage.
This year’s Sharjah Heritage Days carried the theme “Roots,” focusing on celebrating inherited traditions and raising awareness of cultural heritage among younger people. The heritage pavilions during the event reflected the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, highlighting the importance of preserving heritage and cultural identity for future generations.
With a wide range of exhibits and engaging activities, Sharjah Heritage Days served as a global platform for celebrating human heritage. It was not just about showcasing Emirati culture but also about building connections with various cultures from around the world.
The scouts enjoyed a unique experience that went beyond typical celebrations, blending heritage, culture, and community engagement through diverse programs suitable for all ages.
