During the programme, SDPW officials reviewed the most prominent laws and regulations related to employee rights and duties, annual evaluation mechanisms, in addition to a detailed explanation of the performance planning system that is adopted as an effective tool to follow up and achieve the department's strategic goals.
The department stressed its keenness to develop a stimulating work environment that ensures positive interaction between employees, and encourages innovation and productivity. It stressed the importance of enhancing internal communication between the various departments to ensure achieving SDPW goals and serving the community in the best possible way.
At the end of the programme, the floor was opened for discussion for new employees to answer their inquiries and provide the necessary guidance to ensure their rapid integration into the work environment.
