Sharjah24: His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, honoured the elite team from Sharjah Police participating in the sixth edition of the "UAE Tactical Teams Challenge." This recognition was in appreciation of the team's outstanding performance and exceptional efforts during the global competition, which saw participation from 120 teams across 50 countries, held at the beginning of February.
The honoring ceremony was attended by His Excellency Brigadier Dr. Mohammed Khamees Al Othmani, Director General of the Sharjah Police Academy; Brigadier Abdullah Ibrahim bin Nasir, Director General of the General Department of Resources and Support Services; and Colonel Obeid Abdul Rahman Al Asim, General Supervisor of the Sharjah Police Shooting Team and specialized teams, along with the participating team.

Praise for team efforts
During the meeting, General bin Amer praised the participants' efforts, emphasizing that the true achievement embraced by Sharjah Police extends beyond results. It is reflected in the spirit of brotherhood and belonging that the team embodied during the competition, raising the name of Sharjah high through heroic performance that showcases the efficiency and readiness of security personnel. He commended the team's role in enhancing Sharjah's position in the security and policing landscape.

Brigadier Al Othmani highlighted the importance of the efforts made by Sharjah Police in supporting its specialized teams. He noted that the continuous achievements of the elite team are the result of the advanced training programs provided by the leadership, ensuring their excellence in various international competitions.

At the conclusion of the meeting, His Excellency Lieutenant General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer honored the participating team, including players, supervisors, and coaches, expressing his ongoing support and monitoring from the start to the end of the competition.
