Developing health and preventive care programmes
Experts held meetings with the senior management of Sharjah Women’s Sports, where they discussed the development of health and preventive care programmes, in addition to organising awareness sessions for the administrative and technical staff with the aim of raising awareness of the importance of periodic examinations and their role in improving sports performance.
Experts expressed their amazement at the advanced level of the Foundation and its specialised infrastructure, saying that they are amazed by the advanced capabilities and strategic vision of Sharjah Women’s Sports. They added that constructive dialogues with those in charge of the Foundation revealed an ambitious approach towards raising the level of women’s sports, with comprehensive plans aimed at encompassing and qualifying athletes according to international standards.

The visit confirms Sharjah Women’s Sports commitment to adopting the best international practices in sports medicine, to ensure a sustainable healthy sports environment that supports the aspirations of Emirati women to achieve excellence on the regional and international levels.
