Khorfakkan disabled champions set for Fazza Championship 2025

Sharjah 24: Fourteen athletes from Khorfakkan Club for the Disabled will participate in the Fazza International Championships for People of Determination 2025, held under the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council. The event, marking the 16th edition of the Grand Prix-Dubai 2025, will begin on Monday, February 10, at the Dubai Club for People of Determination, with over 400 athletes from 52 countries participating.

Continuous achievements: 33 medals in two months

Khorfakkan champions have been on a streak of success, winning 33 medals across two international events. In the Oman International Athletics Meeting, they secured 18 medals, including 7 gold, 6 silver, and 5 bronze. At the Sharjah International Athletics Meeting 2025, the athletes won 15 medals, maintaining their reputation as top performers.

Intensive preparations and high ambitions

The Khorfakkan team has completed their physical and mental preparations for the upcoming Fazza Championship. Their technical and administrative staff have intensified training efforts, ensuring that the athletes are well-prepared to achieve great results and continue building on their success.

Abdulaziz Al Hammadi, Chairman of the Technical Affairs Committee, emphasized the importance of the players' dedication to representing Khorfakkan and the UAE honorably.
