Dibba Al Hisn wins Sharjah Youth Football League

Sharjah 24: Dibba Al Hisn retained its title in the Sharjah Sports Council Youth Football League for the under-9 age group, defeating runner-up Al Bataeh 4-2 in the final. Sharjah secured third place with a 3-0 win over Kalba.

Tournament details and participation

The league was held from April 18 to May 25 at Sharjah Sports Club grounds in Al Hazana. A total of 200 players participated, representing nine teams from eight clubs, divided into two competitive groups.

Honoعrs and attendance

His Excellency Abdullah Sultan, member of the Sharjah Sports Council, crowned the winners. He was joined by His Excellency Mohammed Al Tarban, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn Football Club Company, and Ibrahim Saif bin Ghafan, Head of the Professionalism Department at the Council's Sports Affairs and Development Department.

Developing talent and team spirit

Mohammed Obaid Al-Hosan, Director of the Sports Affairs and Development Department, praised the level of play and affirmed that the tournament's goal is to sustain athletic activity, nurture young talents, and promote team spirit. He extended his gratitude to all participating clubs for their cooperation and contribution to the event’s success.
