Sharjah24: Deputy Head of the Office of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, officially opened the 13th annual Flower Exhibition in Kalba on Thursday. A large number of government and private sector officials and representatives were in attendance.
Sheikh Haitham, speaking exclusively to "Sharjah 24," praised the exhibition's organisers and the Kalba Municipality for their work, saying that the event showcases the city's civilised side and beautiful beauty.
He expressed his joy at the overwhelming turnout from the general people and highlighted the role that several government agencies from around the Emirate of Sharjah play in making the exhibition a yearly success.
He described the exhibition as a major environmental destination that draws in locals.
