Sharjah Sports Council reviews outcomes of ‘Media Talents Forum’

Sharjah 24: His Excellency Humaid Al Shamsi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club, received, on Wednesday, Engineer Adel Saleh, Chairman of the Media and Digital Transformation Committee at Sharjah Sports Council, accompanied by the committee member, Majid Ahmed Al Khamiri, in the presence of Issa bin Rukn, Member of the Board of Directors of the Club, Chairman of the Corporate Communications Committee, and members of the committee.

Advancing media work

His Excellency the Chairman thanked Engineer Adel Saleh for the visit, praising the efforts made by the Sharjah Sports Council to advance media work within the clubs of the Emirate, through continuous follow-up, valuable advice and guidance.

Over a period of 10 days

The Chairman of the Media and Digital Transformation Committee at Sharjah Sports Council reviewed the outcomes of the "Media Talents Forum" organised by Al Hamriyah Club last December, over a period of 10 days, with the participation of 40 talents in the field of media.

Qualitative leap

Engineer Adel Saleh praised the club's efforts in organising this media event, highlighting that it is a qualitative leap within the clubs, due to its role in creating a new media generation, and enabling it to optimally use modern technologies to benefit society.

Success

Engineer Adel Saleh confirmed that the first edition of the “Media Talents Forum” succeeded in discovering a group of young media professionals in most specialisations, which requires the club to raise the ceiling of ambitions during the upcoming editions.
