In an interview with “Sharjah24”, Al Shamsi conveyed his pleasure with the outcomes of the inaugural championship and highlighted the club's aspirations for even greater achievements this season.
"We are pleased with the positive beginning to the season and anticipate even greater results," he stated, noting that the championship attracted participants from different age categories, highlighting the club’s dedication to nurturing talent.
Al Shamsi emphasised the significance of the event in offering a stage for young athletes, beginning at the age of five, to demonstrate their abilities. The championship presents a valuable opportunity for clubs to discover and develop emerging talents, who may eventually represent them in official competitions authorized by the UAE Swimming Federation.
