Mohammed bin Khalid Al Qasimi Championship to start Wednesday

Sharjah 24: The eighth edition of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalid Al Qasimi International Handball Championship is set to begin, on Wednesday, with eight clubs from three continents participating.

The Sharjah Sports Club Hall in Saman will host the tournament from 22 to 27 January. The Sharjah Club, in partnership with the Sharjah Sports Council, organises the tournament. Sharjah Club, Dibba Al Hisn, and Mleiha will represent the UAE.

The teams taking part have arrived in Sharjah, with the delegations from Kazma, Étoile Sportive du Sahel, and Club Africain reaching the venue today.

Opening ceremony and facilities

The organising committee has revealed that the opening ceremony will be straightforward but impactful, showcasing a variety of activities. We have made arrangements to ensure the comfort of spectators and scheduled a variety of activities for the audience in attendance.
