Sharjah24: Al Hamriyah Cultural and Sports Club (AHCSC), received His Excellency Salem Ghanim Al Shamsi, a member of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation (UAESRF), accompanied by member Khaled Al Owais, and Mr. Nabil Ashour, Director of Support Services Department at the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), in the presence of the Vice President of the club, Ahmed Ali Al Ketbi, and several dignitaries.
The meeting discussed the preparations of the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation for the championships of the next season, reviewing the preparations of both Al Hamriyah Club and Sharjah Sports Council.
His Excellency Salem Al Shamsi praised the continuous excellence of the marine sports at Al Hamriyah Club, lauding its great role in developing competition and training champions to raise the country’s flag in foreign forums.
Salem Al Shamsi lauded the Al Hamriyah Club's maritime sports program for its unwavering excellence, as well as its significant contribution to the growth of competition and the preparation of champions who would represent the nation abroad.
The Vice-President praised the UAE Sailing and Rowing Federation for coming to visit and meeting with the club, emphasising that appreciating Al Hamriyah's maritime sports is both an honor and a responsibility that necessitates continued efforts.
Concluding his statement, Al-Ketbi stressed the great role of the Sharjah Sports Council in promoting the sport of sailing and modern rowing at Al Hamriyah Club, through its continuous support that harnesses all conditions for success.
