The league is set to kick off with the Super Cup match at the Wasit Youth Centre, showcasing the recent champions, Sharjah Youth Al Dhaid, as they face off against Sharjah Youth Khorfakkan, the victors of the Sharjah Youth Futsal Cup. The official league matches are set to commence on Saturday, January 25, and will run through to the end of May.
Sharjah Youth is dedicated to fostering a competitive atmosphere that attracts in participants, shows their athletic abilities, enhances physical fitness, and sharpens motor skills. The initiative aims to equip them for effortless integration into a range of sports clubs.
The league consists of home-and-away matches, where the top four teams will progress to the knockout rounds to determine the champion. A Challenge Cup will feature teams ranked fifth to eighth competing in elimination matches. Sixty-two matches will showcase the league's intensity and its significance in discovering promising youth futsal talents.
More than 400 participants from eight Youth Centers in Sharjah will take part in the upcoming league competition. The centers encompass Wasit in Sharjah City, Al Dhaid, Al Thamid, Al Madam, and Mleiha in the Central Region, along with Khorfakkan, Kalba, and Dibba Al Hisn in the Eastern Region. The competition features 16 teams, organised into two categories: juniors (ages 13 to 15) and youth (ages 16 to 18).
