Sharjah 24: Sharjah Women’s Sports Club secured the Women’s Basketball League title for the 2024-2025 season by overcoming the Sharjah Women’s Sports Club (Eastern Branch) with a score of 51-42 in the second leg of the finals. The match occurred on Saturday, 14 December 2024, at the Eastern Branch’s arena and showcased a captivating and exhilarating performance from both teams.
Walid Al-Hajri, coach of the Sharjah Women's Sports Club, emphasized that preparations for the match concentrated on psychological elements in addition to technical strategies. 

Fatima Zoghrouba, coach of the Eastern Branch team, commended her players for their exceptional performance despite the experience gap, highlighting that such intense competitions greatly aid in the players' development. 

Hanan Al-Mahmoud, Vice President of the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation, extended her congratulations to both teams and praised the exceptional performance displayed during the match, highlighting that it showcases the foundation’s commitment to empowering women in sports and developing their skills. She conveyed her appreciation to Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher Bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah, for her unwavering support, active involvement in the league, and encouraging messages to the players and management, which motivate everyone to pursue excellence. 

Mouza Al-Shamsi, Director of the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation, expressed that the match served as a celebration of the ongoing efforts to advance women’s sports in Sharjah. 

Mai Al-Amiri, Deputy Director of Sharjah Women’s Sports Club, conveyed her pride in women’s sports and the essence of fair competition. 

The match ended with a ceremony celebrating both teams and a group photo session, all set in a lively atmosphere that underscored the Sharjah Women’s Sports Foundation's dedication to promoting women’s sports.
