Sharjah 24: The Sharjah International Marine Sports Club concluded its participation on Sunday in the fourth edition of the Sharjah Events Festival, held over four vibrant days at Al Majaz Amphitheatre.
With a standout pavilion at the festival, the club aimed to engage visitors by showcasing its mission and initiatives. Live demonstrations of rowing, swimming, sailing, and kayaking sports captivated audiences, while children and visitors had the unique opportunity to challenge each other and capture memorable moments alongside Formula 1 powerboats displayed within the pavilion.
The club’s platform also provided an opportunity for visitors to learn about its remarkable achievements in marine sports on both local and global stages. Highlights included insights into signature events such as the Khorfakkan Marine Festival, which underscores the importance of preserving maritime heritage, alongside many other impactful initiatives.
His Excellency Ahmed Issa Al Hosani, Director General of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club, expressed his delight in contributing to the Sharjah Events Festival, praising it as one of the most prominent festivals in the Emirate. He commended the festival's organising committee for their exceptional coordination and collaboration, extending his gratitude to them and all participants for their efforts in making the event a success.
