Sharjah Police receives delegation from NCEMA

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Police General Command received, on Thursday, a delegation from the National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA), as part of enhancing effective communication, and reviewing the local system of Sharjah Police in emergency management, and the most prominent advanced proactive practices and procedures it adopts to enhance its readiness and effective response.
The delegation of the NCEMA was received by His Excellency Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amir, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police. 

The delegation included His Excellency Ali Rashid Al Neyadi, Director General of the Authority, His Excellency Dr. Saif Juma Al Dhaheri, Director of the Operations Centre, Mohammed Hamed Al Neyadi, Director of the Local Centres Department, Ali Mohammed Al Juwaid, Director of the Sharjah Centre, and Bakhita Rashid Al Rumaithi.

The meeting was attended by His Excellency Brigadier General Ahmed Haji Al Sarkal, Director General of Community Protection and Prevention, His Excellency Brigadier General Ahmed Saeed Al Naour, Director General of Operations and Security Support, His Excellency Brigadier General Ibrahim Musabah Al Ajil, Director General of Comprehensive Police Stations, and Brigadier General Dr. Ali Ahmed Balzod, Deputy Director General of Community Protection and Prevention.

The meeting discussed the Sharjah Police system in the field of emergency and crisis management, the mechanisms and procedures used in planning and responding to events, the most prominent digital technologies based on artificial intelligence systems, communication, control and guidance systems that support decision-making, and enable specialised departments to carry out security tasks efficiently, in addition to a number of smart systems used in analysing and providing data.

Following the visit, the Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police presented a commemorative shield to the head of the delegation, and stressed the importance of these visits that enhance joint efforts and strategic goals that seek to develop mutual cooperation and achieve integration in work locally and nationally. The head of the delegation also praised the qualitative system implemented by the Sharjah Police to ensure an effective and advanced response in the field of emergency and crisis management.
