Al Hammadi emphasized that it is the Sunnah of Muslims to turn to God in supplication during times of hardship or when blessings seem to diminish, as God Almighty is the one who alleviates distress and assists those who seek His help.
In statements to “Sharjah 24,” he explained that the Istisqa prayer is a humble act of supplication aimed at requesting rain. According to the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, when rain is delayed, it is encouraged to gather for the Istisqa prayer.
He also indicated that this prayer will take place in all mosques across the Central Region of Sharjah at 11 AM, in line with the directives of His Highness President Sheikh
Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
