The newly released edition features an artistic design of Sharjah Mosque, one of the emirate's most notable landmarks, highlighting the elegance of Islamic architecture. The calendar offers educational content, including hadiths, principles, and insightful sermons.
The department explained that it had completed the first phase of distributing the Hijri calendar for the year 1448 AH, which included all mosques in the emirate, in addition to government departments, authorities and institutions, while the second phase, dedicated to the public, began on Saturday through a number of approved distribution outlets.
Distribution points in Sharjah city include the department's main headquarters in Al Rahmaniya district, its office in Dasman, and a warehouse at King Faisal Mosque.
Additionally, the department partners with the Suburbs and Villages Department to deliver the calendar to residents, which is distributed daily through the suburb councils across the Emirate of Sharjah. These distributions take place from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and again from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
To make access to its services easier, the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs has also made the calendar available electronically on its website.
