Sharjah24: Sharjah Charity International (SCI) celebrated the UAE's Eid Al Etihad 53 with an event at Al Hosn Park in Dhaid. Abdullah Sultan bin Khadim, Executive Director, and Dr Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi, Director of the Association’s Dhaid branch, were in attendance at the event, accompanied by regional dignitaries, heads of sectors, department managers, employees, and volunteers.
Dr Mohammed bin Huwaiden Al Ketbi delivered a speech after the UAE national anthem opened the ceremony. He offered sincere congratulations to the leadership of the UAE, including Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister, and Ruler of Dubai; and Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Ruler of Sharjah.
Dr Al Ketbi emphasised the importance of Eid Al Etihad as an opportunity to reaffirm loyalty to the wise leadership and commemorate the unity and accomplishments of the UAE. He commended the humanitarian efforts of Sharjah Charity International, which persistently carries out health, education, and relief initiatives backed by generous donors.
The event showcased poetry recitals that celebrated national pride, musical performances by students from Tayyiba Nursery and Al Sabah Indian School, along with engaging interactive competitions. The ceremony wrapped up with a segment dedicated to expressing gratitude towards supporting entities and collaborators.
